| Biographie : "La vie de Raymond Juskowiak aurait pu être celle de nombreux mineurs polonais. Né à Liévin en 1928, dans le quartier de Calonne, il suit, à quatorze ans, le destin tracé pour les émigrés, celui des galeries de mine. Mais cest dans les galeries de peinture quil connaîtra la notoriété. Jusko connaît la notoriété dans les années 60 dans le bassin minier, puis à Paris où il expose et enfin au Japon. Mais dans sa région, il sinvestit, notamment à la création du Centre culturel Albert-Camus à Lens. Il donnera des cours avec son ami, le sculpteur Marian Kwasigroch." (La Voix du Nord le 10/7/2008.) Raymond Juskowiak est un peintre du bassin minier, sociétaire des Artistes Indépendants de Lens. Dans les années 1960, il expose à Paris et au Japon. Il a participé au Salon des Indépendants à Paris jusquà ses derniers jours.
