Dansette vendre CONQUEST record player. 1950’s. Green/cream. Working and Tested. Lovely

Firstly I am no expert whatsoever!! I have done some research plus taken advice from people who seem to understand these things!!

I have had this for years and am only selling as we are downsizing and I can't keep everything!!!

I will post but I'd prefer home pick up as these items are fragile. As a consequence it will be a big and heavy package and will be quite expensive to ship.

I could deliver to a maximum distance of 50 miles for cost of fuel plus £20 for my time.

This is really old electronic technology and will not sound like a modern system. However it works and has a lovely vintage sound.

I believe this is a valve record player.

Dates to the early to mid 1950's. I believe it is a really early example.

Green and cream. A rare combination

It has been used and works well. The knobs seem to work fine.

The sound is good IMO. I have tested using a mono ELVIS Presley record.

There are a few crackles when you adjust the sound. The volume and tone seems to be fine.

I can't see any splits or cracks.

Please check all the photos as they give you the actual condition of the item.

The stylus is mono only and would need upgrading for stereo records or you could possibly damage the stylus or record.

A lovely example IMO. Totally authentic and not messed about with.

Please bear in mind that this record player is in original condition and hasn't been restored.

Most original Dansette record players have been messed about with. This one hasn't.

It will show evidence of being used over the past 70 years!! It is NOT perfect. IF YOU WANT PERFECTION DO NOT BUY A 70 year old piece of history!!!!!

Please don't try and say you will need to replace all the valves and will vendre offer £50!! The player works fine and the sound has that great period vibe.

There will be the odd mark here and there. There may be some rust on the hinges etc.

But if you want an absolute classic period record player this is a good example.
