Untold Stories collectes together autobiographical writings of Alan Bennett, in which he explores his childhood, his writing for theatre, TV, and radio, as well as his thoughts on art, authors, and architecture.

Illustrated with twenty-four plates, one of which is in colour. Collated, complete.

Bennett is an award-winning playwright, known in particular for three plays which have been adapted to screen: The Madness of King George, The History Boys, and The Lady in the Van.


CONDITION

In the original publishers quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards, and a quarter cloth slipcase with paper to the boards. Externally, fine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Slipcase is fine.
