Perrier “Femme Noir” by Bernard Villemot (1977) – Original Printing on Linen
This original 1977 printing of the Perrier poster by Bernard Villemot is commonly referred to as “Femme Noir” (Black Woman) in the official Perrier artwork catalog. In the U.S., it is also known as “Perrier Necklace” due to the depiction of green and yellow jewelry.
Villemot designed this piece using bold colors and a minimalist approach. The artwork portrays a black silhouette of a woman holding a glass of Perrier, with the phrase “C’est Fou!” (It’s Crazy!) reinforcing the brand’s energetic identity. Bernard Villemot’s repertoire lists the official title as “Black Woman,” also recognized as “Woman with Necklace.”
