THIS RECORD IS FROM OUR PERSONAL COLLECTION. Well maintained.
*Because our clients are mostly jazz collectors and connoisseurs, as we are, we made it our policy to only sell vinyl that we grade in VERY GOOD (VG) condition or better. This vinyl is in our opinion a VG+, looks and plays great.
Record Grade VG+ = ONE OWNER. Purchased new in New York City in 1980. Very well maintained. Just listened to both sides of the whole album with headphones on and it plays very beautiful. The vinyl looks beautiful. Little to no surface noise at all. No skips or jumps. Difficult to find this rare vintage stereo recording in such nice condition. (see pictures)
Jacket Grade VG+ = Very well maintained. We kept it on our shelf in plastic cover all these years. The jacket is very sturdy. No writing, no tape, no seem splits. Corners have regular shelf use. Firm spine. A strong clean jacket for a 35 year old album. (see pictures)
The pictures were taken of the exact vinyl record and album cover you will receive, moments before this listing was written. Please make sure to review the images and ask any questions prior to bidding.

David Roy Eldridge (January 30, 1911 – February 26, 1989), commonly known as Roy Eldridge, and nicknamed "Little Jazz", was an American jazz trumpet player. His sophisticated use of harmony, including the use of tritone substitutions, his virtuosic solos exhibiting a departure from the smooth and lyrical style of earlier jazz trumpet innovator Louis Armstrong, and his strong impact on Dizzy Gillespie mark him as one of the most influential musicians of the swing era and a precursor of bebop.
Pablo Records was a record label founded by Norman Granz in 1973, roughly a decade after he had sold his jazz labels (including the world-famous Verve Records) to MGM Records.
Pablo initially featured recordings by acts that Granz managed such as Ella Fitzgerald, Oscar Peterson and Joe Pass. Later, recordings by Count Basie, John Coltrane, Dizzy Gillespie and Sarah Vaughan were added. Milt Jackson and Paulinho da Costa recorded for Pablo from the mid 70s to the mid 80s.
